1. Describe the rights and responsibilities of workers
2. Recognize the requirements of a new-worker orientation and your supervisor’s responsibilities
3. Know how to report incidents & accidents that may occur in the workplace
4. Describe the role of PPE (benefits & limitations) in the clinical environment
5. Describe clinical situations where various types of PPE are indicated
6. Safely don and doff various combinations of PPE you will be using in the clinical setting
7. Identify practices to enhance your safety from infectious exposure in the clinical environment
8. Demonstrate what to do if you are having difficulty accessing PPE or have questions about PPE use
9. Recognize UBC and Health Authority communicable disease-related safety procedures
10. Review how to access student health resources
